Oh...and sometimes if you get a nice crew on a plane, they will allow the pup to sit on your lap. Never hurts to ask.
I had a guy come here from CA to adopt from me. He had the little guy on his lap the entire trip back to CA. The attendants put him in the back row and they all took turns holding little Mikki!
