i've heard really good things about shih tzus. actually this is the first time i have heard something negative about them. most of the good things i heard about shih tzus are about how loving they are. they are very sweet and loving dogs, and will do whatever you want to do. like if they wanted to walk away but you wanted to cuddle with them, then they will stay and cuddle.
as opposed to most yorkies who will do what they want to do, which is walk away when you want to cuddle, and demand to be cuddled when you are busy.
the only thing i can thing of is maybe some ppl don't like how shih tzus look. personally, i just don't like the spelling of their name. i always get it wrong. LOL.
i don't have a breed of dog that i don't like. i just don't like dogs that are mean and unsocialized. it doesn't matter what breed to me.
