I am so sorry to hear you are struggling with ticks. This isnt something that I have had experience of, but I know that my mom experienced them. She lives in the countryside and they have deer etc in nearby fields. She and her neighbour used eucalyptus oil on them. I know that some of the ticks found in European forest areas carry tick borne encephalitis which is very serious and you can get vaccinated against this. I dont know if this applies to your area though.

If your treatment isnt proving to be effective, another suggestion is to capture one of the creatures and have the vet identify it just to make sure it is definitely a tick, Im sure youre right, but you never know. You may find it interesting to find out what the local veterinary hospital or specialist vet recommends in the way of treatment, if there is an epidemic of ticks locally.
