Callie is trained not to run out the door but you never know when something can catch there attention or there instincts and them take off. I have never heard of anyones pet having a problem with a collar until I became a member or yorkietalk and by then Callie was use to hers and is uneasy when hers is taken off. Just wearing a collar isnt going to just cause collapsed trachea its hooking it to a leash which I never ever do Callie has a harness for when she going to be on a leash. But Callie has never ever been left alone and the jingle of the tags lets me know where she is pretty much at all times. I call it her necklace because all it is for is to hold her tags and I would be extremely uneasy with her not having tags on at all times.
