Hi! I wanted to introduce myself...I'm new to Yorkie talk. I have one yorkie named Maya who is 5 and a black lab named Molly who is 7 1/2. My sister got me hooked on this site...she also started my love of yorkies...and I think animals in general
My husband and I have always though Maya was a mix (although I'm pretty sure she came from a reputable breeder) b/c she isn't typical yorkie size. She is about 14 lbs...not over weight at all that is just her build. I've asked the vet and he said she is perfectly healthy as far as weight goes and is just a larger breed of yorkie. Does anyone else have a larger size yorkie? I LOVE her to death and actually think her size has been good for her since we have a lab she loves to keep up with. She has the sweetest heart and I think b/c of her we will always have a yorkie in this home. If you look at my pics you'll notice her ears don't stand up...they never have. Any ideas as to why?
