He's quite long which is why his torso may look thin to you. Ideally, he should be "square" with the same measurement from shoulder to floor as from the nape of his neck to the base of his tail. He's just a puppy, though, so this might just be an awkward growth stage.

What does his breeder say? She will be the best judge of his adult weight if she is reputable and knows her lines. Some puppies grow quite a bit in the beginning and are finished by nine months. Others grow in their second year.
