Daisy was almost 6 months old when I attempted to give her that first haircut; her body was fluffy & pretty, but her face was really unruly! She tolerated the electric clipper, but when it came to doing the scissor cut on her face.......demon dog! Barking, growling, and biting, oh my! It really looked terrible, so I finally gave up.
I waited for her body hair to double in length because I had cut it really short, then she went to the professional groomer. I can tell she had a few problems with Daisy's head also, because her ears are less than perfect. Daisy just won't hold still!
I decided to keep her hair short while she is still blowing that puppy coat and changing hair color, although the texture isn't tangly at all. She is definitely a wash and go dog, now!
