Hi and welcome. It will take time for the 6 yr old to get used to a new pup. From what I understand introduce them a little at a time. I recently introduced a 7.5 week old boston terrier to a 3 yr old yorkie and 1 yr old chi. I am still having trouble with Gypsy (yorkie) getting a long with Sophie (bt). But after 3 months she tolerates her more. Pups are so rambunctious it may puzzle or annoy the older one. Good Luck. Others will be able to help you more than me I am sure.
