Buddy snuck up on the counter while we were doing other things and ate some chocolate cake. It was about four ounces with mini chocolate chips in it. I called the Vet, and they said to watch if he gets lethargic. All I know is, chocolate is bad news for dogs (right?), and a six pound Yorkie will have a very sensitive stomach. He threw up, but seems to be acting normally. We don't have much money after Christmas, but if he needs to go to the doctor, we will find the money. They said, if we need to, we could give him a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to help him purge. What can you tell me about dogs eating chocolate?
