Kristy, I'm sorry Stewie has to go through that. Isoflorane is one of the safer anesthetics. My vet said they can control how deep they can take them with it, too. I think you are down to deciding if he has a chance of living a normal healthy life or perhaps living with a handicap. It's a tough decision, but one only you can make. I really think it isn't the anesthesia you need to worry about here. My thoughts are with you and lil Stewie.
