Thanks everyone! You have given me some great tips that I hadn't thought about. I will look for a break away cat collar. I have never heard of these. I too never have collars on my dogs while around the house, but I wanted her used to it for when we go out in public, which is often. This little one is a handful in every sense. Nothing with this pooch is easy. Having been around animals my whole life, I have come to realize what can happen, will happen, and I drive myself insane looking for possible hazards. Even still, it is impossible to be completely aware all the time.
