i have 2 carriers.

a kwigy bo fancy one that looks like a regular purse
and a "tote" looking kwigy bo london (i think)

I keep the purse on in my car and use it when i need to go into a store or something when i have my girl with me. mostly starbucks :P

i use the tote as a park bag. i keep a little blanket rolled up in it and some treats. usually i take this if we are walking around alot. i guess i could even use a regular tote as i hardly put her in it, only if we walk into a store.

if i am just walking around town i use a large purse to hold all her dog things as well as a little towel to put ontop of the junk in my purse incase she gets tired or its too busy and she is in danger of being stepped on.

what id love to see in a tote;

- canvas tote bag/ casual looking. pleain enough to match most things i may wear aka not bright pink
- a mesh area that is not TOO noticable
- a zipper to roll down the mesh area so she can poke her head out
- an adjustable clip on the OPOSITE side of the mesh window (why are they always on the same side as the window!?) so she can poke her head out but not jump out.
-enough pockets were I dont need to carry a purse AND a carrier. something that can fit my phone, wallet, keys, compact, waterbottle, drink cup (for her) treats, poo bags etc.
