To make jerky, I freeze chicken breast prior to slicing it, it is easier to cut. I don't season it either, just place slices on the dehydrator and turn it on. I have done liver too. It is messy and takes a long time due to all the moisture but makes for some good treats.
Do you cook the sweet potato first or dehydrate it raw?
