I think he needs a health certificate issued by the vet so that he can travel out of state. Maybe others have more info on that, but I'm pretty sure about it. Everytime we travel, I always bring Miko's bed and blanket so that he can lay on it during the car ride and I bring his favorite toys. Whenever you get to the new place make sure and set out things that he's familiar with like his toys and his bed or whatever so that his stress level isn't so high. I'm sure the transition will be fine for him
