That happens here alot. They go back and forth constantly. Maggie is a little instigator though, she will run after the one she doesn't have, doesn't matter if Hot Rod has it or not. When Hot Rod gets the upper hand she will just literally lay there whining and watching him chew. And the brat that he can be, he will just chew away in front of her!
I can't stand it and I grab one and toss it across the room and tell Hot Rod to leave it. he will then ignore it and go back to chewing. If he start to go after it, I will just grab him and put him on my lap pillow to chew and he settles down. Sometimes, Maggie will go over there and chew on it and sometimes she will still sit/lay and whine and watch Hot Rod. At that point I just let them deal with it. It's up to Maggie to get the other one and if she chooses to whine, I can't do much more. Hope this helps. Good luck.
