I had to deal with a "pet store" guarantee once
They basicly cover them self with the wording. It is hard to fight a pet store, mine lasted over a year (long story) I finally got a differnt puppy when it was all said and done, no help with the vet bills from the first one. It was a real learning experience.
I also tried to cancel the credit card payment (chase) was supposed to be cancelled until I found it on my statement- their (pet store) guarantee proteceted them.
The only real advice I can give you here is to keep a good relationship with a vet that you trust and is familer with the small breed. Your new puppies will love you for it
It may be a long road but just hang in there.
