You just need to watch out for the foods that use the flaxseed to boost the omega % in the food. It's ALA Omega which dogs need to convert first to turn into usable DHA Omega's. Some dogs can't make that conversion and the dogs that do make the conversion lose about 25% of the effect from the conversion.
