If I had a dog dying, I would be running OUT of my house AWAY FROM my computer to try to save the dog. I honestly do not understand someone just sitting and letting a dog die. Sorry...but there are places to take them to get help. And, if you cannot afford it, sign them over if you can. Do something...don't just sit on your computer and type. Not only is the poster upset, but the animal lovers reading it are also upset...maybe even MORE so since they cannot do anything! |
Just my opinion of course but in my way of thinking it is just this type of post that is the biggest problem.
To say, If I had or If it was me etc... is simply not a fair statement. It isn't you and even though you had a situation with a dying dog recently it does not mean that your situation was anything like hers. You don't know her situation, you weren't there, you did not walk in her shoes. You do not know what you would have done in her shoes as you do not know what the entire situation entailed and to say that you would have done such and such is simply uncalled for and won't help the situation. I surely don't see where it is educating.
There are so many variables when dealing with people online who you do not know. You do not know thier family situation, thier mental status, where they are in life or the things that may have changed and gone on in thier lives to bring them where they are right now.
Again, just how I see it.
