You are so right. There are SO many pups who end up in shelters after their owners die. People think that families will care for them....sometimes they do....but so often it is not the case.

We often find that the elderly want puppies. I even get family members who email looking for a young pup for their elderly parent. Those family members are often the same types who end up putting the pup in a shelter when mom and/or dad pass away.
