When I use a TV tray and eat in the living room, Bella likes to run up her doggy steps onto the couch and jump on my lap. Obviously this is not where I want her when I'm eating, so I put the doggy steps up on the couch so she can't climb up. The next thing you know, she is using my legs instead of the steps to get up on my lap. If I stop her from doing that, she takes a running start and somehow leaps high enough so that she can propel herself up onto the couch with no assistance.
