i said all of those things knowing my own error, although admittedly not until after i got him. i know thats not the greatest way to start loving a yorkie, but i love him as much as any of you, i would bet my paycheck to that.
im just trying to present the new owner, who doesnt know jack side of things.
its a bit disconcerting when you ask for info and people beat you down for what you dont know. stating facts such as, 'a reputable breeder would not sell a puppy until its 12 weeks' is not offensive. saying 'that breeder is a peice of sh*t and so are you', LOL is harsh. ok thats an exxageration, but as a new owner i fully resonate with this post. im not asking you all to hold my hand and say there there, its ok. im just asking not to be treated like an idiot when i am here trying, thats all.

Let me put your mind at ease. Cause there's very few of us that haven't been there and done that.
My first yorkie I bought from a BYBer......lucky because she was perfectly healthy (only had coccidia). Now here the one that's gonna get you......my second yorkie I bought at the Canton Flea Market (those from Texas know about that)......
I think the problem comes where you get rude and/or blunt answers to questions is when; someone comes on here requesting advice/knowledge and it's given in good faith and the person that asks for the advice has wasted everyone's time and does what they were going to do in the first place........
Don't be afraid to ask questions, the answers may not be what you want to hear......but, the only dumb question is the one that is not voiced.
