It looks like she may have a SILKY coat which should be easier to care for when her puppy hair is gone.. I tried to grow Lacis hair out one time too, but instead of growing nice and long it grew outwards...the coat that is comming in now is a pretty silvery color and seems a little softer.. Im going to try and let it grow some to see what it looks like.. her hair does grow really really fast! If you do decide to shave it off, Make sure you tell the groomer ONLY the body... I would leave her facial hair and legs because they are so fluffy and cute.. I think the golden hair tends to be softer and easier to manage.. JMO
I would also STRESSSS LEAVE THE TOP KNOT!!
