Ah ... so you have my Zach
I've got 2 one is a typical dog
He'll play but sometimes he'll just be a dog and sit or lay around
Then there's my Zach
and it's constant overdrive with him
He plays he PLAYS ..... and if you don't reciprocate and play with him
he tends to bark at you
Something I had to work with and stop
also he pulls on a leash
he's on constant C-A-T watch .... he's at war with them
What you do with a guy like this is scoop him up and calmly pet him
If he wiggles let him
Just make it known that he must submit to this
calmly massage him and speak to him in a calming voice
pretty soon he will look forward to these petting sessions
but you have to be able to take a dog like this down from their high anxiety state ..... for your piece of mind and for his health
