if she was dehydrated her bun would have been high as well so check what the bun value was on the blood work. I always recommend another good source for info is yahoogroups.com you type in the disease or health issue and join a group that deals with that as that has helped me a ton with my kids as well also there is a vet group on there petvetcafe and vettalk you may want to join to ask vets and vet techs that are very helpful as well
