Default Trupanion

Aww Zoey is growing up so fast! hehe

I enrolled my lil one earlier this year after doing a lot of research and shopping around for policies and signed up with Trupanion pet insurance . They have been very helpful already, as we had to file an accident claim. I don't know what i would have done if he wasn't insured.

What I like about trupanion is that you can pick your own deductible, they pay 90% of your vet bill, their premiums don't increase with pets age, as it does with most other companies, and they cover hereditary and congenital disorders. My monthly premium is affordable and i have full coverage..and it has already paid for itself with the surgery and meds we needed covered.

I would recommend avoiding benefits schedules because sometimes these flat rates are far less than what your vet charges you. I also recommend to avoid routine coverage (regular exams, vaccines, etc), because you are just paying the costs through higher premiums thus not saving any money, but in most cases, losing money.

Hope this help!

also, if you want an unbiased review, you should check out Pet Insurance Review - comparison of VPI, ASPCA, etc.
