I'm not going to say breed, or don't breed...just read up on it til you feel like a professional breeder & you feel you have all the facts. Because knowing those facts will either save your girl or help you decide if beeding is for you or not.
I thought I'd dip my toe in breeding & once I went through it once, realised it wasn't for me. Not because it wasn't lucrative for me, Mimi's pups were sold in a week & I overpriced them because I wanted a family that can afford them a life of spoiling & vet care.
I decided to spay Mimi just after one breeding because I couldn't bear the thought of losing her or any of her pups. I also decided I couldn't be a breeder because I worry about the pups too much after they go to their forever homes. She had 5 beautiful pups, more than we expected (vet counted 4 in the x-ray) & she had extensive tests . The stud came from Champion bloodlines, but that doesn't really matter, we just wanted beautiful healthy pups.
After going through whelping w/my baby girl, I had a new found respect for reputable breeders. If anything, listen to them. Some may be strong opinions because of their passion & love for the breed...pick out what sounds good & true to you & learn & grow from it.
