[Esme's Mommy]

I feel like an awful mommy. I took Esme to the park today and let her run around in the grass. Esme is usually indoors, so being outside is not common for her. Anyhow, we were sitting in the shade and she was panting really hard. I brought a little dish and a water bottle and poured some out for her to drink, but she was still panting really hard. Finally, I just decided we needed to go home. I picked her up and started walking to the car, and she did something she has never done before. She peed on me while I was holding her! I was really concerned. I blasted the air in the car and held her for a bit. Then we came home, I put some ice cubes in her water dish and gave her some Nutrical. She is sleeping in her crate right now. She hasn't come out since we got home. Has this happened to anyone? I guess it's just to hot outside for her and she isn't used to it. Now I know I have to be more careful with my baby and the heat outside.
