I am so sorry. Such a tragic thing to have to go through and witness. Sometimes, as hard as it is to go through there is a reason for everything, and something good will come from such a tragedy. Your sister may find the reason very soon, or it may take a while. Just maybe, moving into a safer neighborhood is part of that reason. I too, hope she doesn't wait too long to fill this void.
