Default Tragic accident

My sister who lives in Victoria, B.C. Canada called me Monday, December 21st to tell me that her Yorkie, "Kellie" who was 5 years old was hit by a car and killed instantly on the busy street where she lives.

They were just getting out of the car and someone started up a motor cycle and the dog spooked and pulled out of my sisters hand and ran for the street. My sister said there was no warning and even though she tried to run after the dog and catch hold of the leash - it was too late and nothing could be done. I have been depressed since December hearing about this because this little wee Yorkie was the sweetest little dog and was so, so, so important to my sister who, like me lives alone.

My sister was very, very sick last year and Kellie helped her to smile again and get better. How do you deal with a sudden, senseless accident that takes the life of an innocent dog who was loved so much?????
