All my litters are microchiped by my son, he is a vet tech, we do them at 12 weeks just before they go home. he has taught a few of my friends, he recomends a product called "Merrcuroclear" to clean and numb the area where the needle is going to be inserted, is a local anesthetic and antiseptic. the active ingredients are Benzalkonium chloride 0.13% first aid antiseptic and Lidocaine Hydrocloride 2.5% External analgesic. we also have the reader but you can have your vet, check the microchip when the pup goes for his exam.
we use home again.
