Thanks to you for your thoughts and prayers. I was so scared today with Libby suddenly getting so sick. Just before taking her to the vet, I took the puppies outside to potty, and Libby had very light colored, mushy poop with blood in it and lots of clumps of blood on her hind end. I took her immediately to the vet. My vet is gone, so I had another, whom I like, except I don't think she tests for things...just more guessing. I wanted a blood test but she said that would tell her nothing. Libby's temp is 105 which is way too high. The vet said it is most likely something viral. She gave Libby a shot of antibiotic and another shot of anti nausea. She said I may have to bring Libby back tomorrow for sub q fluids. I am to keep her quiet and try to get her to drink water. So far she has no interest in eating or drinking anything. She is on an antibiotic that also has something like kaopectate in it to help stop the diarrhea. I do still feel uneasy, and also worried my others could catch it. Please continue to keep her in your prayers!
Patti asked me to thank you for the prayers you have offered for her cousin, Buster and his wife and daughter. They took off the life support on Jesse, so she is now with the Lord. Patti is feeling very sad, so please pray for her, and also Buster,as it is going to be so hard on him without his wife of MANY years. |
