and I received the nicest thank you email (below). I never felt so good about my shopping before It just goes to show you, even our shopping can make a difference for other yorkies!

The members and pups of Yorkie Haven Rescue would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful supporters. Because of you, we were able to take in 47 dogs in 2009 with only a few foster homes in Louisiana, Illinois, North Carolina and Texas. Through the generosity of our supporters, Yorkie Haven Rescue was able to pay $52,321 in vet bills for the pups in our care. Without your help, we would not be able to do what we do for these thrown away animals.

We are very proud to be sending you this appreciation e-mail and privileged to call each and every one of you a member of Yorkie Haven Rescue. Everyone helps in his/her own way by fostering, adopting, donating, transporting, crafting, spreading the word, etc. Without all of these things, our efforts would not be possible.

We wish all of you and your families a safe, healthy and prosperous 2010.
