We had a huge Golden Retriever that had to get spayed later in life because of health problems (don't know why Dad never got her spayed as a pup...) but anyways, she came out of it really great and didn't even need to wear a cone. We felt too bad to leave it on her, LOL, so we took it off her first night home and she tried licking her stitches once and we just told her "ah-ah" and she didn't try and mess with them much. Of course, keep a close eye on her, but it sounds like you've got everything you need. The pain meds plus the anesthesia should make her tired/groggy for the first couple days anyways. Good luck!

Have you let the boys meet her yet?! Considering they MAY very well have a big sister....
