I am so sorry you were sold sick puppies. Out of the kindness of your hearts you took both of these babies in and got them immediate vet attention!! When I got Cali from a back yard breeder she had kennel cough and gave it to my older pom. It took almost 3 months to get them both over it, so don't be alarmed if it doesn't clear up right away. Just make sure it isn't getting worse. She also had coccidia and 2 rounds of Albon and she was fine. The pom puppy I just fostered tested positive for Giardia after being at my house a few days and with my 3 girls, the shelter gave me Panacur which didn't help so they put her on metrodrozinole (sp?) and after a round of that she had a negative fecal, none of mine caught it or my family, but I was worried. I used bleach to clean up where she pooped each time.
I hope they both get healthy and have a long and healthy life with you!
