Default I need to thank someone

I don't remember who it was but someone suggested using corn starch to get out matts. Daisy doesn't matt but my mini schnauzer is another story. I do all her grooming and today was bath and hair cut day. I did her pre-clip then moved on to brushing her out for her bath. I had already had to razor out two big matts on one leg and she wasn't happy with me. Then I remembered someone suggesting rubbing corn starch into the matts. I thought yea right but it's worth a try. I must say this is what should be called nature's miracle. I worked the dry starch into the hair on her legs and using my slicker brush with no pressure at all the matts brush right out. It must be magic. The comb slid through like butter. So from the bottom of my heart and Missy Ann's THANK YOU, whoever you are.
