They don't always know the cause of pancreatitis. The only way a person would be certain of a reason is if they gave them an offending food such as bacon, ham or sausage. My pups never get anything like that so who knows why he got it. They just treated him for a few days with fluids and he improved. He is just my little problem child I guess.
I have had a couple of them....you know how that goes!!
