I am the same, I give Jimi "people" food as well. He gets different types of meat, as well as some fruits, vegetables, and cheese.

I don't think that giving a dog "people food" is bad. There are some people on this site that only feed their dogs a homecooked diet, and they do very well on it. In fact, sometimes feeding a dog regular food is much better than feeding them dog food, because of the preservatives and additives in many commercial pet foods. I think that if you are feeding the food as treats though, then it should be in moderation.
