Mary, you're right about the Nutri-Drops being fast absorbing and I have used them in the past. I tend to not recommend it due to the low dosage needed compared to other products. It's very easy for someone to over-do it if they're not familiar with it. That, and the fact that it usually has to be ordered and most people need something that is easily available.

Not sure if you read the whole thread, but the OP posted that she had gotten Molly to eat some kibble since her first post. That's great and is what you would expect in a 10 week old pup.

I think the confusion over what meds the baby was getting was from a post made by someone else. I had never heard of anything but albon being used for coccidia until I came on this site.
I think that may have been me . Sorry I got this thread confused with another . If the vet said Kaopectate could be given then I would try a little peeled apple or pumpkin instead. I've always had more luck with the apple for the runs and upset stomache then the pumpkin. However I have noticed that if it's a bowel issue the pumpkin seems to work the best.
