Thank you everyone for the suggestions , Dallas has started already to tolerate little Philly more and more, the hardest time is play time...he wants to play but he has lost some teeth and cant hold the toy during tug of war like little Philly can ,sometimes I help him and Philly will paw at him or snap at him...at times she chases and barks at him and he gets mad and will snap at her , this has happened several times but Dallas has never bit her ...just shows his teeth..most of the time he just runs from her....and that concerns me b/c she will become the Alpha more Dominant dog and from what I read he should remain the Alpha...is this true and has anyone added a new addition and found they became the alpha dog? |
