As many of you know, Pippi is my registered service dog, and as such we're in the car an awful lot. As it is now, Pip has a pink pad (the only good leftover from a recent bad relationship
) she sits on in the passenger seat. She stays on this pad like it's velcro. When when get to our destination, I get out myself (I tell her to "stay"), then when I'm ready, I lift the seat's armrest and say "paws up" (the word she was trained when I need her to jump in my lap). I feel *very* insecure that she's not buckled in whilst driving. Are there any safety belts or ideas on keeping her restrained? She will not go to the backseat, nor will she go into a bag (she thinks she's my protector of sorts, and gets v upset when she can't make eye contact w/me.
