Having "been to her kennel" is not necessary to ascertain certain information.
Juding from previous exchanges in this thread, several things are obvious:
1) She sold to a broker and had no idea who ended up with one of her pups nor did she have any voice in screening and selecting the dog's owner.
2) She's a registered USDA breeder...meaning that she has to adhere to THEIR guidelines which include housing dogs like livestock, not loved family pets.

For most here, these things are inexcusable. And this breeder made no effort to try to explain them. To see someone trying to downplay and justify them under the reasoning that "you haven't been there in person, you don't know" is laugable.
