That is so true. I had a kitten litter and I think kitten litters are easier than small breed dog litters and I had problems and had 3 die. The remaining one I had to hand feed at weaning time because she wouldnt wean. I am a stay at home mom so I had the time to do it. Otherwise she would have died also. There is so much that goes into whelping and raising a litter and I know even though I read alot I was not prepared. I hope it works out for you
