My husband's friend came by last night to pick up some tools for work (they do demolition). While he was sitting on the couch yappin', Dora came into the living room and peed on the corner of a sheet that was hanging onto the ground off of my kids "fort". She's only 13 weeks old, so she tends to think any mat, towel, or blanket on the floor is a pee pad. Well this guy bent over, picked Dora up, and went to rub her nose in the pee! I FREAKED!!! I stopped him when her nose was just about to touch the pee, and I went up one side of him and down the other. My husband was stunned, because he hadn't seen what happened. He just walked into the room with his mouth wide open. I'm normally a very nice, calm person...but don't mess with my yorkies man!!! After I stopped him, "the friend" went on lecturing me about how "that's what I had to do, and I didn't know how to train my dog. She's never going to understand if you don't rub her nose in it". I was shocked

First of all, who takes it upon themself to discipline someone else's dog? This guy has only been in my home twice before. Second, are there really still people in this world that train their dog like that? Then he proceeded to tell me that I had to toughen up. Like when his dog (a huge 140 lb dog) use to dig holes in the yard, he filled it with water and stuck his head under the water until he was choking and couldn't breath. THAT made me sick to my stomache! Needless to say, he will never be welcome in MY home again, Missy (my 15 month old) didn't like him anyways

Thankfully, my husband totally understands how I feel, and now thinks "his friend" is an IDIOT.
Thankfully my little happy-go-lucky Dora came through the whole ordeal completely oblivious to the fact that anything had happened.
