I got the Canon XSi for Christmas, and so far I like it. I had the Rebel G and a couple of extra lenses, so I stuck with Canon. Just a note, though. My old lenses are Quantaray, not actually Canon brand, and they don't always work with the more manul settings--aperture priority, etc. It will take one and then freeze up. But they seem to work with the more automatic modes, so better than nothing!
