I have 2 large breed dogs, as well, a GSD, and a Lab X, they are both good natured, but I NEVER leave them all together, unattended.
They do play nicely, mostly, but I would not take the chance. My Yorkies have their own room, whn I am not with them, and the big guys have the run of the place (security ~giggle~).
It can work, but I admire you for joining YT to learn about the breed!
