Our yorkies use stairs for the couch and bed. Many will say their dog jumps on/off the bed with no problems. That may be true and yes many yorkies are capable of jumping on/off furniture but I wouldn't allow it. You're just asking for, if not a broken leg, then years later on probably knee surgery.
