I do like the humulin N, I buy RelyOn N at Walmart. You do not need a script for it. Jax does not have the rebound effect now that he had while on vetsulin. The cost is $24.00 a bottle. I feed Jax Taste of the Wild bison. He eats 1/4 cup every 12 hrs. I give him canned plain pumpkin and green beans as snacks.
The yahoo group has been very helpful to me. They helped me figure out what type of food was best with the new insulin and advise when I need it.
