This is just not a Yorkie problem. I have known large dogs who knock their food bowl over and then eat their food off the floor. Most dogs carry their food to a rug to eat. I am not sure why. My sister-in-law has a Yorkiepoo that will get a piece of food out of his dish, back up until he is on a rug, will whirl around, eat the food, and go back for another piece. Who knows why these dogs do these nutty things, but it makes living with them fun and interesting. |
