Recipe for chicken, beef or lamb jerky:
Use chicken breast, very lean beef or lamb, and slice very thin and dehydrate! That's it. I don't use any oils nor seasonings. I keep it healthy.
I would cook the meat in my oven (I don't have a dehydrator) for about 3 hours, and flip mid-way throught the cooking cycle. (I used a pizza stone...again, no oil).
What temp do you cook it at? I've always kept my eye out for a used dehydrator to do things like this with and haven't seen one lately. Never thought about doing it in the oven!
