Do you think it's totally silly to try and sell my XS and use the money towards a T1i? Simply for video? lol. I really do video a lot so it seems like it'd be worth it to have. I'm one of those people that doesn't like to carry around two so to have video plus good photos all in one would be amazing.

I have the T1i- my parents spent the extra bucks so I would have video capabilities- mind you i have not used it yet as I have not gotten to that chapter in my Canon T1i for Dummies book
HOWEVER, i hear it can do some GREAT things- i say YES go for it!
